Commemorative Coins to Mark D-Day 75th Anniversary

The Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Highlanders of the 9th Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division wade ashore on Nan White Sector of Juno Beach in Bernières-Sur-Mer, Normandy on 6 June 1944.
The Royal Canadian Mint is creating two commemorative two-dollar coins, also known as toonies, to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
My Dad CPL. NK. Forman arrived and landed off that Landing Craft 299 right on to Juno Beach that morning, he could very well be one of the soldiers getting off and into the water in that picture! “Up the Glen’s”
