1917 At Passchendaele, Sergeant George Mullin of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry killed an enemy sniper, shot two German machine gunners with his revolver and compelled 10 others to surrender. For his actions Sergeant Mullin earned the Victoria Cross.
