P/O Henry Arthur Murphy, RCAF

Post by georgetanksherman » Tue Dec 09, 2025 2:28 am

Greetings All,

Looking for info on P/O Henry Arthur Murphy, RCAF, J/86753, Wop/Gnr, No. 428 Sqdn, Avro Lancaster, KB758, KIA August 13,1944,
Aircraft shot down, crashed near Winsen, Germany on the Aller river.

2 of the crew survived, captured POW, sadly the rest of the crew were killed in action.

I am looking for where P/O H.A. Murphy was born, none of the page have any info, except saying his parents lived in Montreal, Canada. Aviation Safety has USA after his name, so just checking if and what the connection is.

Any help clearing this up is truly appreciated !

Cheers and hope all is well,

George

Temujin,

Thank You for looking up the info, thought I would ask, most of the pages only stated his parents where in Canada, but one site had U.S.A. next to his name, I could not find anything, so again thought I would ask, Appreciate the help finishing this Warriors Info.

All the best !

Cheers

George
