Here is another one which I have come across during my research:
Flight Sergeant William Sorg RCAF a pilot from Westmount Ave, Pittsburg, PA.
He was flying in an Anson from 1 GRS which ditched in the sea and had a chap who went on to serve with 78 Squadron.

do you have Flt CM Howes RCAF Pilot on your list? He was born in Kent England but at the age of 4 he emigrated to the USA with his parents and remained there until he crossed the border to enlist. He lived at Stamford, Conn and completed all of his schooling their.

Aircraft took off from RAF Breighton, Yorkshire on a “Gardening” mission to drop mines near la Rochelle, on the the west coast of France, aircraft crashed 4 miles north east of Cheltenham, Gloster, England, at Cleeve Hill with the loss of all crew members.

another one found today Major Donald Blakeslee USAAF former RCAF fighter pilot from Fairport Ohio. There is a picture of him in the Leader Post, Saskatchewan Canada 17 Aug 1943.

Great work and some great pictures, its a shame about the quality of the original newspaper photo as their is a 78 Squadron chap in it Squadron Leader Robert Irwin Trickett DFC who flew with both 78 and 35 Squadrons and remained in the RCAF after the war.
