Ever spoken to Wally Fydenchuk, author of "Immigrants of War", George?
He's the "go to" man on Americans in the RAF and RCAF. He doesn't post on forums too much any more after a certain site in the UK (who should know better) swiped his stuff and claimed it as their own.

Re: RCAF 423 Sqdn, Sunderland ML823 Help
I have not had the chance to talk to Wally Fydenchuk, but from what I have seen, there have been a couple of folks that have researched, put there findings on the web to help others, and landed up pulling the info due to people (Low Life's) taking credit for doing the work, which is a shame, the stuff I am doing is going to the No. 1 British Flying Training School Museum in Terrell, Texas. where Commonwealth and American pilots were trained. And of course, everyone who helped compile the info will get mentioned and given the credit for helping ! All the best and "Thanks" for the info !
Cheers
