RCAF No. 404 Squadron

Definitely an American citizen, George.

He was born in Kokomo, Indiana 8 December 1912, the son of Gordon and Louise (nee McCauley) Rumbel of Kokomo.

On enlistment in Edmonton 20 September 1941 he gave an address of a PO Box in Fairbanks, Alaska where he had been working as an engineer for US Smelting.

Thank You both Ludford 101 and Temujin for the info, since I started actually researching the individual R.C.A.F. squadrons, I have located 8 more Americans that I did not have on my list. Working on the fighter squadrons first, then will work on the bomber force, Then on to the training schools.
