Any idea what units they were with ???
Does anyone have any idea what unit these Fallen Warriors were with ???
LAC Thomas Francis Hastings, R/106579, It is believed, He was struck by propeller, died
LAC Walter Francis O'Connell, R/135869, It is believed, He was struck by propeller, died
A2C Herbert Chipman Amero, R/201545, Died natural causes at Lachine, Quebec

The above actually was in pilot training, but “washed out”.......he was in the middle of being discharged from the RCAF, but became very ill (first with influenza). His entire illness record is available but I included the first page and the last page. He was discharged BUT was warned that moving him from the hospital may cause his death. Also have a Flight Lieutenant Hugh Weir Morton, C/7289, died December 22, 1943, Died Natural Cause - Leukemia, from Bakersfield, California. Need to find what unit he was assigned, was he sent to a manning Depot due to his health ???? Thanks for any info !!!

Hey George. Here’s his info. He retired from the RCAF before he died.
