More info on Wilson
RCAF (American) P.O.W.'s
Re: RCAF (American) P.O.W.'s
123 Squadron Records indicate “pilots were taken away”.......I then looked at all of the 123 Squadron Records and I could NOT find mention of G.P. Wilson’s name again, even when the pilots returned. His aircraft could have went down while he was with 274 Squadron.....OR.....he “may” have been posted to another Squadron....

Re: RCAF (American) P.O.W.'s
I have read a lot about Pilots and aircrews getting redirected, (borrowed, Stolen) aircraft and crew, on the way to the desert, a lot of that happened around Malta so I guess that must have happened more often, and anywhere, it looks like !
Appreciate the help Temujin, I know there will be times that the info is just not out there, but I just throw the info out there and ask, just in case I missed something !
Finally getting relief from the 100 degree weather, started raining yesterday and still going, temp down to 72 deg F .... Yea !!!!!!!
Cheers
