Hello everyone.
Im wondering if anyone could shed light on an item from a Great Uncles service records ( Regiment Number 652270) from World War 1. The letter K was inserted instead of a number in his date. What is shown is 28-K-19. I also found this reference in the War diary for the 3rd reserve Battalion of which he was part of. It says on the 28th of Jan.1919 Draft of K-42 40 OR's were being sent to Kinmel Park for return back to Canada.
I was wondering if it meant he was being sent to Kinmel Park of which i believe he did. I did find the "Part ll Daily Orders and you can see his Regimental number but his name had been dashed out.
Thanks again for any info.
I'll send the items in question.

Re: Letter K instead of number
I can’t help you with the “K”, I’ve never seen this on a military record of WW1
I download his file, and has a lot of information, note he was transferred to the 2nd CMR (Canadian Mounted Rifles) and was wounded while with them. His records also contain other wounds he received.
If you would like specific information on his records, let me know and I can try and decipher them for you. As I mentioned I have downloaded his records.
I’m not sure if you have seen this reference material on the 160th Cdn Infantry Battalion. The records below contain a LOT (pages) of photo’s and records of the 160th Cdn Infantry Battalion
