Dear friends,
This weekend marks 75 years of liberation in my home town 'Bergen op
Zoom'. Of course this has been remembered, and celebrated.
Since we were liberated by the Canadian Soldiers, they have named the
weekend 'CANADAYS'.
We visited the parade today. It was beautiful wheather. Saw:
- air show including spitfires
- Several Music Corps from Canada
- More than 100 vehicles including Jeeps, Trucks, Shermans, Wolverines,
Bren Carriers end Sextons.
Tomorrow there will be some commemorations on the cemetary, some events
in town including theatre and cinema.
