Looking for info on Flight Engineer: Sgt A. Bostock, 1541998, RAFVR, Nottingham, England of RCAF 434 Squadron, and what aircraft ser#, during this time period, the squadron was flying the Handley Page Halifax.

December 29/30, 1943
P/O R. Pratt was hit by flak outbound, the stbd inner was damaged and caught fire, stbd outer and port outer were damaged, pilot slightly injured in the leg, and Sgt A. Bostock RAFVR, the Flt Engineer was killed. There were also many holes throughout the fuselage. Sgt J. Stinson RCAF, the 2nd pilot took over, went to the target and brought the damaged Halifax back to a safe landing at Woodbridge, England

Any and all help and assistance is truly appreciative

I don't have the ORB for this squadron, which will give the answer. Have you tried Richard Koval who does the 6 Group site where this came from?

The Woodbridge ORB won't tell you anything, I'm afraid. A friend of mine did a project on all the emergency airfields some years ago and told me it's useless.

Once you get into 1944 - 1945 I can help you as I have all the damage reports for aircraft which returned safely.
