Grandmother Mary Crabb hoping to find World War II heroes who saved her life
Re: Grandmother Mary Crabb hoping to find World War II heroes who saved her life
Photos of Alonzo James Brackett provided by his Niece, Ruth. Though the later photo is not clear, the resemblance to the soldier in question is certainly there.

Here's the two photos side-by-side, add this to all the other evidence pointing to Alonzo and I'm more than convinced that it is him.
Edit: Added a second comparison photo.

Re: Grandmother Mary Crabb hoping to find World War II heroes who saved her life
I've heard back from the R.C.M.P.. They were kind enough to look in their archives for a photo of Alonzo, which unfortunately the did not find, and also correct some of our research notes.
Thanks to Coralee at the R.C.M.P.- As per the photo archives, we were unable to locate a photo of Cst. Alonzo James BRACKETT #9678.
- The information that Cst BRACKETT served in the RCMP after WW2 is incorrect.
- He joined the RCMP on 1920-11-27 at Ottawa ON. He was dismissed from the Force on 1925-08-31 at Dawson, YT.
