Need some help on this one, have two different stories on what happened to this Fallen Warrior, also if you can help with the aircraft ser #, much would be appreciated !
First:
On January 14, 1944 during a flight to Gibraltar, a Beaufighter of the 404 "Buffalo" Squadron of the RCAF suffered mechanical problems and was forced to land against Cape Trafalgar (Cadiz).
Pilot: P/O Norman Bolton Hunt, J/19500, Belleville, Ontario, Canada
Navigator: F/O William Wilkie, J/22219, RCAF, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada
Sgt Beverly William Matheson, R/183751, No. 1653 H.C.U., Innerkip, Ontario, Canada
F/O Andrew Nova, J/25738, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada
Second:
F/O William Wilkie and F/O William Luxmoore Evans aircraft lost height rapidly when 120 miles from base and ditched. It had been hit by flak while turning in to attack and was unable to launch its RPs. F/O Hodson circled the site, but no survivors were seen in the dinghy.

Thanks for clearing that up Temujin, it's amazing how you have to second search while researching due to others just putting wrong info out there, this is what I had from this site

Also, my info shows P/O Beverly William Matheson was with #1653 Heavy Conversion Unit. Stifling aircraft BF 525 disappeared during a cross country trading flight between Lands End and Cardigan Bay, England. P/O Andrew Nova was also killed on this flight. 14 Jan 1944

Re: F/O William Wilkie ???
Temujin, I was questioning that site as for listing the four, in a Beaufighter, I got to see the one at the Hendon Museum in London, England, and it looked like it is even a push just to get 3 people in the aircraft let alone 4 !!!!!
Weird thing happened along the research for 404 Squadron, somehow I got into the Archive site for 404 Squadron, not sure how, got a lot of info off the site, then had a power failure, now I can't get back into it, did manage to save the "Roll of Honour" though. figured it might come in handy, have 8 crews from 404 that I am having issues getting info on. 1 Blenheim, 7 Beaufighter crews.
Found P/O N.B. Hunt was with F/O S.G. Joiner in Beaufighter LZ179
Thank You for the Info, Hope all is well, had an unusual august for us here in Texas, was in the upper 90's which is better than the 100's
Cheers !!!!!
