Found the info. He had a mid-air collision with a Spitfire. His aircraft was a Hurricane IIB Z5001. The other aircraft was Spitfire IIA P8373

If you read the last report (which contains his aircraft number), both pilots bailed out, one was seen to get in a dingy and one was struggling with his parachute and was not seen again. The report indicated they believe that F/L Little was the one in the water and he was presumed drowned.

NEW ADD:

F/O A.J. Morris (DFM), RCAF, J/10949, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
Spitfire, AA880, March 21, 1944 - Killed in crash

F/O D. Sherk, RCAF, Survived
Spitfire, AB897, March 21, 1944 – Survived

While No. 402 Squadron was moving from Digby to Wellingore, aircraft on arrival over dispersal area at Digby, F/O Morris started an unannounced slow roll hitting wingman F/O Sherk in Spitfire AB897, aircraft AA880 spun into the ground killing F/O Morris. F/O Sherk was able to gain control of his aircraft and made a successful landing.

NOTE: Aircraft AB897 was repaired back to flying status, but was lost on June 6, 1944, shot down by flak off the coast of Normandy, France
