Lauchlin McIver Kelly RCAF/USAAF
Looking for info on 1st Lt. Lauchlin McIver Kelly, started off in the Royal Canadian Air Force, was one of the airmen who swapped over to the U.S.A.A.F. when America joined the fight, but he stayed with No. 78 Squadron, was flying Halifax LW320 EY-Z on 20/21 December 1943 when it was lost and crashed near the Dutch/Belgium border, aircraft was on a bombing mission to Frankfurt, Germany. Where I am having an issue is USAAFDATA is saying he is from Texas and Find-a-Grave is stating that he is buried in Maryland, So if true, I am trying to find out what the Texas connection is ! Thank You for any help and assistance ! 1st Lt. Lauchlin McIver Kelly was K.I.A. while the rest of the crew became P.O.W.'s.
