In honour of Private Colin William Wilmot, 1 Field Ambulance, attached to the 2nd Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry, killed on July 6, 2008, while on foot patrol at night in the Panjjwayi District, Kandahar, Afghanistan. He was critically injured and later died following the detonation of an explosive device.
