In memory of Corporal Michael Gunter Starker, 15 (Edmonton) Field Ambulance killed on May 6, 2008 in Pashmul, Afghanistan after his Civil-Military Co-operation team (CIMIC) patrol came under fire in the Pashmul region of Zhari district, about 25 kilometres outside the city of Kandahar.
