Greetings, looking to see if anyone can help me with Sgt. John Cary Morgan, was designated 4-F in the U.S. Military, crossed over the border and joined the RCAF, went through flight training, got his wings, was sent to England and assigned to an R.A.F. Bomber Squadron, flew 12 missions before transferring to USAAF, assigned to 326th Bomb Squadron, where he received the Congressional Medal of Honor for bringing a stricken B-17, (Ruthie II) back to England. Transferred to 482nd Bomb Group and on March 6, 1944 was shot down, survived but captured to become a P.O.W., Sadly all the info that I can find is all USAAF and no RCAF or RAF info.
Any and all info on Sgt. John Cary Morgan would be truly appreciated, he is a fellow Texan who hails from Vernon, Texas !
Cheers
George
