In this presentation given by Rob Thomson, the role of the Canadian Corps during The First World War will be examined, but with particular reference to soldiers of Scottish ancestry.
Scots comprised the third largest ethnic group living in Canada prior to the First World War. Did this have a bearing on the success of the Canadian Corps in World War 1 ?
Rob will look at some of the 'myths' that have grown around the Canadian Corps and come to some possibly surprising conclusions.
