According to this article, (
https://legionmagazine.com/en/2020/09/t ... -of-u-484/) controversy exists over who sank U-484 in the Second World War, much as it does regarding the shooting down and killing of the Red Baron in the First World War.
Below, images of the two RCN vessels attributed with involvement in the sinking of U-484.

This information......if true.......seems to clearly indicate that the U Boat was sunk by the Sunderland Aircraft and it shows a “ton” of witness’s including the U Boat crew.........again, if true........I’ll check the Op Record Books and see if I can find more
