What I have on this Fallen Warrior

Spitfire, L1082, August 22, 1941

Aircraft took off from RAF Hawarden, Flintshire on a training mission, aircraft destroyed in a mid-air collision with R7018. Both aircraft crashed near near Bagillt, Wales, United Kingdom, Both pilots were killed in the crash.

Crew Spitfire L1082:
Pilot P/O R.D. Crozier, J/5480, RCAF, Portland, Maine, U.S.A.

Crew Spitfire R7018:
Pilot: P/O A.W. PARK, 80100, RAFVR, Walmer, Cape Province, South Africa

May they Rest in Peace, and their families know that the are not forgotten !
