It is always interesting to hear what other people are reading, and what they think of those books. So, here is a thread for people to extol the virtues of their recently completed read, or to warn others of the volume.

The last book I read was,

Juno Beach: Canada’s D-Day Victory: June 6, 1944

Mostly read on a flight as I kicked off a tour of battlefields in Normandy -- great stuff!

I am currently taking a second crack at The Battle of Arnhem (Cornelis Bauer). The reason I stopped reading it the first time is I find I get angry reading about disasters.

For reading at home, I have also started Canada's Pride: The Ram Tank and Its Variants by Roger Lucy. It's pretty amazing, just too big to lug around with me.
