ECAULT (France) RCE 22 septembre 1944

Hello to all,
I am Pierre-Aldric, I am 23 years old at the time I write this message, I come from France and I am passionate about the history of Canadian soldiers of the RCE. I am currently doing a lot of research on an event that happened on September 22, 1944 in the Commune of ECAULT (Pas-De-Calais, France) which caused the death of 5 Canadian soldiers and injured 4 others. I am looking for any information on these people:
- A20681 SPR Charles Edward BERRY (Killed)
- B25507 SPR Dawson James GOURLIE (Died of wounds)
- B29618 LCPL Norman Francis RUNDLE (Wounded)
- B82911 SPR Marshall Lewis McCONKEY (Killed)
- B130926 SPR Henry (Harry) SAMBELLS (Killed) - contact with a family member done in 2021.
- D47049 SPR Douglas Randolph ABBOTT (Wounded)
- K29307 LSGT Mark Henry HANNAH (Wounded)
- K37974 SPR Stanley Beryl KELLY (Wounded)
- M101711 SPR George Washington PRESTLIEN (Killed)
I would like to find descendants of these soldiers and know as much information as possible about them. This step would allow me to pay homage to them via the association of reenactment of which I am part which is located in the north of France and which honours the memory of its men of the RCE. We do not want to forget them and I do not want their history to be forgotten.
