Another One, Halifax LV935, R.A.F. No. 1659 H.C.U.

Greetings, have another one, looked all over for hometown for Navigators: Flying Officer Joseph Arthur Rosaire Gaetan Heroux and Flying Officer John Earl Stillings, all CWGC, CVWM, Find a Grave, and F/O J.E. Stillings just states "From U.S.A." does not say from where. Any and all help would be appreciated.

R.A.F. No. 1659 Heavy Conversion Unit

Halifax, LV935, April 8, 1945

Aircraft took off from R.A.F. Topcliffe, North Yorkshire, England for a radar demonstration and bombing practice, aircraft failed to return from mission, some where it was lost at sea while on a practice bombing exercise off the east coast of Britain. Aircraft and crew were lost without a trace.

Flying Officer Joseph Arthur Rosaire Gaetan Heroux - from St Barthelemi Station, Quebec, Canada

Flying Officer John Earl Stillings says he was from Crossfield, Alberta.......I’ll check further

George, found his records, he live in Alberta or 23 years.....but was born in the US, I think it says Billview, Alabama

Thank You Temujin, looked throughout Alabama, could not find a Billview, Alabama, but I did find a Bellview, Alabama, so I guess it was down to his writing.

Temujin, Thanks for the help on that one, I just could not find any info, other than "From U.S.A."
