Are the appendices referred to in the right hand column of some your earlier ORB examples contained in the ORB?

In most cases, they're not. But worth a look-see. No one in authority at an RCAF or RAF station would accept an aircraft as just "D" when it arrived so there has to be a paper trail.

Bill Walker, send us a signal!
Of course your right Ludford, and I have been going thru the records for appendices etc.......but so far no luck. Some of the Albacore pages give “references” to other documents but they are not included in the war diary files.

I’ve search the LAC records for any info on Thorney Island to see if their is anything their, but so far no records on this station in LAC Records.

Still looking but no luck so far

Found records from Coastal Command (who 415 Squadron was with at that time). No mention of the aircraft loss, only operations information
