I've posted this great photo from the Imperial War Museum captioned as follows.
Santa Claus (Leading Aircraftman Fred Fazan from London) hands out presents to Dutch children at Volkel, 13 December 1944. Members of No 122 Wing had saved their sweet ration for weeks, and contributed enough money to give the children their first proper Christmas party. It was noted by the photographer that this year Santa was afraid of Messerschmitts, so he decided to come by RAF Tempest!

Any further info available on Fred Fazan?

There were two Fazans in the RAF:

1465649 Francis Clayton Fazan (number indicates an April to October 1941 enlistment at RAF Cardington)
1578262 Norman Guy Fazan ( number indicates a June 1941 enlistment at Birmingham)

Norman Guy Fazan was commissioned (new number 174237), flew Mosquitos: http://aircrewremembered.com/young-rona ... ester.html

He appears to have been Belgian.
