He's listed here, April 29th, 1943, the men listed along side him may be crew members.

It looks like the notes from the memorial inscriptions may be wrong. From this list of Canadian Military Aircraft Serial Numbers RAF Owned, RCAF Operated it seems it was indeed a Halifax rather than a Liberator which crashed. Though this states 7 crew killed and there is only memorial information for 6.

Thank You Phil, it seems that CWGC lists what seems to be a crew from RCAF 405 Squadron all killed on the same day, with the exception of the pilot, can not find a pilot, so maybe he was injured and survived ! Also found where a Halifax DT633, from RCAF 405 Squadron did crash near by at Stubb Woods, Beaulieu, but it said all 7 crew members were killed, Appreciate all the help !!!!

I am thinking maybe, the Pilot survived the crash with serious injuries, and maybe sometime later might have succumbed to his wounds ??????

Record from “They Shall Not Grow Old”, Page 683

Sellar, Ernest Harold FS(N) R101853. From Winnipeg, Manitoba. Killed in Action Feb 21/43. Age 22. #405 City of Vancouver Squadron (Ducimus), Pathfinder Force. Halifax aircraft # DT 633 crashed one and one half miles north-east of the aerodrome at RAF Station Beaulieu, Hampshire. F/0 C.J. Shagena, Sgts B.W. Turner, R.V. McLeand, FS’s F.J. O’Donohoe, B.F. Parker and Sgt W.J. Hart (RAF) were also killed

NOTE: FS Sellar’s record is the one that had all the details of crash and crew, hence the reason his is the “lead info” on this crash.
