				My first post.
LAC Harry Louis AXLER RCAF R97458, died on service September 10, 1941 in hospital in Calgary from complications of surgery for appendictis. He was serving with #2 Wireless School, Calgary.
Newspaper reports imply he was training in wireless, possibly as a Wireless Operator Air Gunner.
Can anyone confirm his trade?
Many Thanks,
Paul

You are correct, he first was in training as a Pilot (records below) but then was “reassigned” to WAG (Wireless Air Gunner) and was in his “wireless” school as part of that training.
His full records are available at Ancestry…..which you can look at for FREE

				Hi again Temujin,
Forgot to add it was the references to ITS that made me think it was likely.
