A family uncle...still searching for pictures. I have been at it for a few years, looking for pictures of him overseas...

Enlists in the RCAF on October 7, 1942.
Trained as an Air Gunner at Bombing and Gunnery School #9 in Mont-Joli, Québec, Canada.
Assigned to the 431 “Iroquois” Squadron and sent to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada for his posting overseas.
He arrives in the U.K. on July 22, 1943. His rank is Pilot Officer.
Assigned to 6 Group Bomber Command, Tholthorpe, U.K. on August 31, 1943.
Jady’s last sortie was on December 3, 1943. Target: Leipzig, Germany.
They were flying in a Mark V Halifax serial number EB137 and coded SE-N.
Sadly, it would be his last. He is 19 years old. The entire crew is lost.
The crew is interred at the Bergen-op-Zoom Canadian War Cemetery in Holland, as it turns out, not far from where they crashed

I have a lot of info. about his assignments, just no pics.

Thank you very much. I never had seen the flight route and return. Can you tell me where it came from? I'd love to research his other sorties.

If came from International Bomber Command Centre Digital Archive web site. But they only have a few of these Raid Tracks on their site, I don’t believe you’ll find any more.

But, the site is full of great information from log books, raid information, photo’s etc about various Bomber Command Squadrons, Groups etc.

Below is the Aircraft Movements Card for EB137, not sure if you had that record. You can see which units that this aircraft was with up until its loss

If you’d like to see other Night Raid Reports, go to this website

https://www.lancasterbombers.net/night-raid-reports/

The archives are the “clearest” , here’s the report for the 3/4 Dec 1943. I’ve enhanced it so it can be read a “little better” (but still not the greatest)
