Just checking to see if anyone has any other info on Sgt Richard F. Clounch, from Dallas, Texas. I have him with the RCAF, getting his wings at No. 14 SFTS in 1942, transferred to USAAF September 1, 1943. Assigned to 802nd Recon Group, 8th Weather Recon Squadron. killed in a flying accident on June 21, 1944 when flying Mosquito NS558, aircraft on landing collided with a Balloon Cable causing aircraft to crash killing both crew members.

Sgt Richard F. Clounch was originally buried at Brooklands, but reinterned at Laural Land in Dallas, Texas.

There seems to be a small gap between 1942 and September 1943, so was wondering if prior to transferring to USAAF that he was doing some Instructor duties.

Appreciate any help, if it is out there !

Cheers

George
