Greetings,

Looking to see if there is a known cause of death on Aircraftman 2nd Class Alvin Jean Hurford, R/123218, from Evanston, Illinois, U.S.A., Died on Service, November 29, 1941 while assigned to #3 Initial Training School, Victoriaville, Quebec

Appreciate any info you can find !

Looks like he went AWOL, and then died in New York

Thank You for clearing this one up, all the other site just stated "Unknown" or nothing at all, for his cause of death. Sad thing that no one will know why he went AWOL, and then shot himself, maybe the pressure of war, sadly we will never know !
