Sqdn Ldr J.H. Curry, C/2645

Greetings, hope everyone is safe and healthy,

Have a long shot question, looking to find the aircraft serial number of a spitfire flown by Squadron Leader J.H. Curry, R.C.A.F., C/2645, Dallas, Texas, assigned to R.A.F. No. 80 Squadron, on March 2, 1944, was attacking ground targets in Italy when his spitfire was hit and was forced to crash land, he was able to evade capture and made it back to allied lines on the 18th of March, there are many stories about this warrior, but none seem to mention the Serial number of the aircraft involved

Any help would truly be appreciated,

Cheers
George
