Greetings, would like to see if I could get a clarification on Sgt Rudolph Charles Carlyle Smith, RCAF, J/16175

Assigned to R.A.F. No. 112 Squadron in the Desert, was flying Curtiss Kittyhawk FR131 when he was engaged in combat with enemy aircraft, believed to be Bf-109's and was shot down northwest of Foum Tatouine, he was list a Missing in Action, now presumed to have been Killed in Action.

The question that I have is some pages list him as coming from Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A. and others state that he was from Wheatley, Ontario, Canada, I have learned to at least ask, due to finding a lot of miss information on these pages, so I am asking :-)

Cheers

George

Thank You Temujin for the clarification, there was just to many "Red Flags" happening on Sgt Smith and where he was from. And I was glad, at least where you could see why I was asking the question !

Cheers

George
