I’ve gone thru 112 Squadrons records, and I can find his name and operations, when he arrived etc, but in all the records (unlike other Op Records in other squadrons), they did NOT list Service Numbers of personnel

Below is a copy of the record on the day he arrive at the Squadron

George, Just a side note. I’m not sure if you have this resource:

https://www.bombercommandmuseumarchives.ca/index.html

Their webpage is FULL of information on Canadian Units (and RAF units) in Bomber Command, with unit histories, war diaries, information on Bomber types etc etc.........and EXCELLENT resource.......

Nanton (small town in Alberta) is just a few miles from my Home town (where I was born) and this Museum has been their as long as I can remember, they also have one of the best burger joints (if its still their, haven’t been thru Nanton in a few years) just down the street from the Museum. On the way home from Calgary, Alberta to visit my parents I ALWAYS stopped at the Burger joint to get my “fix” before carrying on. I would park in front of the Museum as I wolfed down my burgers (always bought more than I should) and look at the Lancaster that was alway being rebuilt by Volunteers. Their website says that they were formed in the 1980’s......this was the “new” organization, the actually Lancaster and location of the Museum has existed as long as I can remember.......just to the North of the town, on the main highway from Calgary to Lethbridge, Alberta........sorry, just some “old thoughts” from my younger days

BUT, haven’t said that, their website is EXCELLENT (I think I’ve already said that)

Cheers
