RCAF POW Information required

Hi,
I wonder if anyone has any information on the following RCAF Wireless Operator:
R65437 SGT JOHN KNGSLEY HOWES
From my research I know that he was shot down on the 12th August 1942 and taken POW. The POW records show that he was promoted to Warrant Officer and was held at StalagLuft IV and given the POW number of 1249.
I also believe that he was a West Indian who had travelled to Canada to enlist.
On the night that he was shot down he was operating as part of the crew of Halifax II W1061 on operations to Mainz. The full crew was:
WO2 W E LUNAN RCAF. KIA
SGT J R DICKINSON RAFVR POW
SGT F A SCOTLAND RAFVR. KIA
FSGT L C JUPP RCAF. POW
SGT J K HOWES RCAF. POW
FSGT A E FAY RCAF EVADED
SGT J WYATT RAFVR POW
FSGT Fay returned to the UK and then returned to Canada where he commenced pilot training, qualifying in October of 1943
Any help appreciated.
