Hi, I wonder if anyone has any information on the following RCAF Wireless Operator: R65437 SGT JOHN KNGSLEY HOWES From my research I know that he was shot down on the 12th August 1942 and taken POW. So, a little bit more information on Sergeant (Air Gunner) Roy Douglas 'Muscles' Hadwyn. He arrived at 78 Squadron at RAF Breighton, on the 30th April 1944 from Number 41 Base. All the service numbers are correct; J M Newman is shown as J86854 and J6641 is FO D A Newman shown as a prisoner of the Italians.

Many thanks, much appreciated. He arrived on 78 Squadron just before the end of the war, on the 21st April 1945 coming from Number 74 Base. He was a Navigator.
