Two other things I thought may be of interest. One is a great book by George Blackburn, 'Where the Hell Are the Guns' a great history of the 4th Field Artillery who trained in Petawawa and were stationed in Sussex England before D-DAY, the same as the 14th so that it gives you a good idea what they ...

The picture of the 34 the battery you posted. I studied the picture and didn't recognize Any one in it from other pics or find my father or his other friends who should have been in it?
