TODAY IN CANADIAN MILITARY HISTORY

1915 - Lieutenant Edward Donald Bellew received the Victoria Cross for his actions near Keerselaere in Belgium while serving as battalion machine gun officer with the 7th Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force.
